이쿠하라다(Iku Harada, b.1982)는 정원과 집 같이 친숙한 현실의 일상적 풍경과 공간을 가상현실가상현실(VR)로 먼저 옮긴다. 이어 그 공간을 평면의 캔버스와 3차원의 조각으로 변주하여 하나의 공간을 여러 차원의 모습으로 재현한다. 다차원을 경유하는 이쿠 하라다의 작품은 공간에 대한 질문을 던지며 우리를 둘러싸고 있는 공간을 새로운 시각으로 바라보게 한다.
Iku Harada (b. 1982) first translates familiar everyday landscapes and spaces, such as gardens and homes, into virtual reality (VR). He then transforms these spaces into both flat canvases and three-dimensional sculptures, recreating a single space in multiple dimensions. Harada's works, which navigate through these various dimensions, pose questions about space and invite us to view the environments surrounding us from a new perspective.
